Many of the Membership Applications being received have not been completed with the applicants signature and to meet Insurance requirements I have had to return them for signing, needless to say this is a waste of every ones time so please check your form before posting.

Copies of the Police Application form*, Police Permission for events on the Public Highway*, and the now compulsory Risk Assessment for the course must be with the Region Secretary Nigel Harrop before the event can be held. The Region Secretary should retain these forms for at least one year from the event date.

 

Signing On sheets must carry the TLI disclaimer, the body of the form can if neccesary be changed to suit the event requirements but the disclaimer must be used unchanged.

 

The insurance company has made it clear that failure to comply with the conditions 1 – 4 could result in the cancellation of the cover for the event.

 

Within 7 days of the event the race levies and copies of the signing on sheets plus completed Day Membership entry forms for all non members who took part in the event should be sent by organisers to the Region Treasurer. The copy signing on sheets serve two purposes, a) to check that the correct amount has been sent and, b) proof if needed that the correct disclaimer has been used.

 

Finally, and hopefully it will not have to be used, but if there is an incident in an event the Injury / Accident form should be completed and forwarded to the National Chairman. 53 Prestbury Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire.SK10 1AU without delay. Organisers must be aware of and comply with this requirement.
