Hello Members,
The time seems to fly by and I still have not ridden my bike in anger. After last November being told hamstring o.k. to wack the miles in again, pain came back. Back to physio after xmas so start again, after ultrasound they found `solid calcium` in my leg. Next job needles in leg to break up `solid calcium` (character building) then to take away the pain a cortisone. Felt alright but messed my dart match that evening could not stand on my leg, to make it worse my Antelope Dart Team lost to our `B` Team.
Thanks to you all for rejoining the T.L.I. for 2008 as we are now up to 65 members which is great and the first race is not until Saturday 26th April for the Sandie Radford Memorial Road Race. This should be a good warm up for your Thursday nights thrashing around the Moreton Village Evening Series 1st Race of the Series is 8th May every Thursday to the Final Race of the Series Thursday 7th August .
Cotswold League thanks for your events again under the T.L.I. R.U.K. Region, 2 events less than last year but no doubt the fight to be Cotswold League Champion is `game on` for 2008. Of course as like last year no matter what the weather the event will be on.
Let us see if we can get a few more members in the Cotswold League to join the T.L.I. you'r close to double figures at the moment . Come on they can afford £120 sunglasses, Carbon Frames, Carbon Wheels, silly aerohats, so please see what you members can do. Reward I will buy you a beer at the Downton 2 Day (Michael,Colin,Roy) Who knows in 5 years time we could have Cotswold League verses Heath Road Race League.
